Artemis's Moon over Mount Olympus
While we were waiting for sunset at Hurricane Ridge, my wife spotted the moon rising over the mountains. Quickly changed lenses and captured this one. The title was suggested by my daughter - Artemis is the Goddess of the Moon, daughter of Zeus and Leto. The sky turned a pleasant pink at dusk, providing a soft backdrop for the magnificent mountain range.

Hoh Rain Forest is a temperate rain forest, featuring on of the largest concentration of biomass by weight. Here I attempted to bring some order to the chaos in forest scenes.

While walking down the trail to Marymere Falls, we came across these field of wildflowers.

Sol Duc Falls, Olympic National Park
Sol Duc Falls, is so widely photographed, that finding a unique composition is challenging. Here I attempted to highlight a portion of the falls with my telephoto lens.
