It was a rainy Sunday afternoon and the skies were bleak and uninteresting. However just a few minutes before sunset, the clouds parted and the sun shone through. I grabbed my camera and quickly drove up to nearby Montgomery Hill to capture the last light of the day. I used my 300mm lens as the foreground was uninteresting, but decided to do a pano to capture the breadth and colors of the scene.
