Spring Flowers, Montgomery Hill Is Spring here at last? Montgomery Hill is covered with yellow mustard flowers, this time of the year around! Having arrived here a few minutes before sunset, I didn't have time to setup my usual GND filters, hence decided to bracket images instead. This is a manual exposure blend of two images, one processed for the sky and the other for the foreground.

The park is built on the site of the old marina, and uses the design of old docks (with framed gates) for its many boardwalks. The composition was chosen to juxtaposition the framed gate with the one at the distance. While the sky wasn't spectacular, it does provide pleasant soft lighting to evenly light the frame.

Fall colors at Hellyer County Park. An overcast day brings out the best color in fall foliage. This is a blend of two bracketed images, one processed for the foreground and the other for the highlights. A circular polarizer was used to intensify the color of the foliage.
